Yes. Your account is usually active within a few minutes of a successful payment.
Yes. There is a 3-day product. After the 3-days, it continues on the 2000 Mbit/s monthly plan unless you cancel during the 3-day period. Check the 3-day page for current terms.
  • Prepaid 60 Mbit/s with 20 connections
  • Prepaid 500 Mbit/s with 40 connections
  • Monthly 2000 Mbit/s with 100 connections

The 60 and 500 plans end automatically at the end of the term. The 2000 Mbit/s plan renews monthly or yearly until you cancel.

Prepaid plans do not renew automatically. The 2000 Mbit/s plan does.
Go to My EasyUsenet and open Product & payment. From there you can upgrade, extend, or stop a plan.

Plans and Billing

YCommon options include iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card, and Trustly. Some products may also offer PayPal and other local methods depending on your country and the plan.
Yes. Invoices and payment history are available in My EasyUsenet under Payments. Keep your billing details up to date for tax records.
Yes. You can upgrade from 60 Mbit/s to 500 Mbit/s at any time in Product & payment. Any price difference for the remaining period is calculated automatically, with a minimum upgrade cost of €2.50. Upgrading to 2000 Mbit/s is not possible from the 60 Mbit/s or 500 Mbit/s plans because these are prepaid, whereas the 2000 Mbit/s plan is a continuous subscription.

Account and Security

  • If you forgot it, use the Forgot password link on the login page.
  • If you request a password change, we will automatically generate a new password and send it to you by email. You can then update your Usenet client with this new password.
Up to 1 hour. If you log out or change your password, the link stops working immediately.
Account sharing is not allowed. If multiple locations connect at once, you may see the error 482: Too many connected hosts. Use the account on one location at a time.

Tech and Settings

Server (host): reader.easyusenet.com
Ports: 119 or 80 for standard connections, 563 for TLS/SSL (recommended).
Match your plan: 20 for 60 Mbit/s, 40 for 500 Mbit/s, 100 for 2000 Mbit/s. Setting more than your plan allows will not increase speed and can cause errors.

Speed and Usage

The 2000 Mbit/s plan is available with a 3-day, 1-month, or 1-year term and supports speeds up to 2000 Mbit/s. Your real-world speed depends on your own internet connection, hardware, and settings.
Unlimited plans have no fixed data cap, but are subject to a fair use policy to ensure stable service for all users.
  • Use port 563 and enable TLS/SSL
  • Do not exceed the connection limit for your plan
  • Avoid using multiple clients at the same time
  • Check your local network gear and cables

Retention, Groups, and Privacy

Access to 134,000+ newsgroups and 3,000+ days of retention, subject to article availability and your plan.
